Any thoughts on retouching or portraiture in general? C&C would be

appreciated

As a portrait it's great, lighting, pose, look of the model, background fits the colors...as a retouch work I don't know! Need much larger copy to estimate! On this size not any traces of retouching! But you will print it, let's say at least on A4!

Pierre, thanks for your comments.  If you can't see the retouching, that is good enough for me!  (Well, at least at this size.  I'll have to check if/when I print it to see if it holds up.)  It's relatively subtle, but I have been working on the basics of skin, hair and make-up fixes over the last month.  I haven't gotten into anything like total-body-terraforming, yet!

Well, I guess I can't help (probably unfair) comparison between the previous one and this image.  The tilt of the head and the softer expression on that one looked much better to me. If I were the subject, I would feel flattered by the first one.
