GREAT no more no less.

It is a very fine picture, but I am a little dissapointed about the quality, considering the camera you used. It is a bit soft and there is visible noise in the darker parts. was it underxposed ?

Hans, I think that the noise is down to (a) the high ISO number & (b) the fact that I combined three images to produce this composite HDR image, which has magnified the noise further.  I also hand-held the camera rather than using my tripod, which has contributed to the softness.  I cropped the image to remove some really bad noise at the bottom left hand side: but I quite like the softness of the finished image.
