jeff.grant 0 Posted November 14, 2010 Much better to be tied up at a marina with all that weather going on, that's a great story Gordon and your processing really captures the mood. Link to comment

Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 15, 2010 And finally, the third of your recent uploads. Here I'm struck by three things: the strong, receding diagonal; that carries us nicely from foreground to background; the wonderful tones which capture the blustery mood of the storm perfectly; and finally the balance of the composition, anchored by the pole that extends forcefully to the top of the frame and holds the composition against the force of the wind. Three unique pictures. Three winners. Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted November 16, 2010 This one is my favorite, even though I'm freezing....;-)) ! The atmosphere is great, the feeling of storm is wonderfully expressed with the grainy surface and color palette tone, that fits the subject. The diagonal heavy "cut" on the LHS with busy details is well balanced by the empty RHS that is a place for the eye to rest, and an easy entrance the the very nice end/ DOF. Arriving to the end we find the bridge form in the fog and some trees.Beautiful "architecture" of your photography Link to comment
danbliss 0 Posted November 19, 2010 I like the geometry and the textures. There is something about the mood that the rain causes. I can't quite put my finger on, but I like it. Nicely done. Dan Link to comment
