root 0 Posted May 2, 2003 Pattern shots don't need a point of rest, although the eye tends to try to find one. I don't find a point of rest in the lower right corner because I follow the lines out to the upper left, rather than converging down to the right. Oblique lines which suggest rapid eye movement are moderated, as Doug points out, by both the three areas of color and the individual petals. It is perhaps this contrast in visiual dynamics that gives the image it's strength as a composition. . . Link to comment
craig_allyn_rose 0 Posted May 2, 2003 Could not agree more with the analysis provided. This is an image that is simply satisfying! Looking at it is a treat for the eyes and mind. The colors, texture, lighting are all close to perfect. Excellent work - congrats! The Photo Monkey - www.carosephoto.com Link to comment

michelle_campbell 0 Posted May 4, 2003 LOVELY! Wow...I think that's the best I can come up with. What an immediate draw! Awesome job. I do have some questions....Was it natural lighting? What brand lens did you use? Were you indoors or out? Absolutely wonderful. Great job! Link to comment
