Pattern shots don't need a point of rest, although the eye tends to

try to find one. I don't find a point of rest in the lower right

corner because I follow the lines out to the upper left, rather than

converging down to the right. Oblique lines which suggest rapid eye

movement are moderated, as Doug points out, by both the three areas of

color and the individual petals. It is perhaps this contrast in

visiual dynamics that gives the image it's strength as a composition.

Could not agree more with the analysis provided. This is an image that is simply

satisfying! Looking at it is a treat for the eyes and mind. The colors, texture, lighting

are all close to perfect.

LOVELY! Wow...I think that's the best I can come up with. What an immediate draw! Awesome job. I do have some questions....Was it natural lighting? What brand lens did you use? Were you indoors or out? Absolutely wonderful. Great job!
