robert_israel 0 Posted April 10, 2003 I absolutely love the color and the angle you shot this at! Link to comment
jason michael 0 Posted April 10, 2003 This shot illustrates ideal gradation of colour from green to yellow to pink to purple to an intense blue with all the gradations inbetween. Top notch, I love the intensity of the blue. Link to comment
ricardojmendez 0 Posted April 11, 2003 I'm glad to see that your foray in digital is going well. While I love your "Little Anne"s - even if "love" might not be the correct word - your forays into less shocking subjects are more often than not beautiful. As others have pointed out, the degradation in tones and composition are just great. Link to comment

think27 0 Posted April 11, 2003 This is stunning. The graduation and then blending of color in each row is terrific.. The background has almost a metallic feel in contrast to the soft pastels in the foreground. Well done!Bravo! Link to comment
g1 0 Posted April 11, 2003 Without manipulation this means the colours of the petals are natural right? Amazing. I love the diagonal flow in composition, it is very dynamic. Link to comment
briany 0 Posted April 11, 2003 I agree with Geraldine. Particularly Stunning for an unmanipulated image. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted April 12, 2003 Folks: Many thanks. Yes, the colors are natural. The flower's petals are hollow tubes, and the smaller ones are translucent, so their colors are affected by the colors of the petals behind them or adjacent to them. You really don't see this with the naked eye; you have to get very close, under direct light, and use a camera, because the eye compensates for adjacent colors and ambient hue. Link to comment

Stock-Photos 1 Posted April 12, 2003 Absolutley fantastic! I hope you shot it at your highest resolution for big prints. Makes me want to run out to B&H and buy Canons new D10. Link to comment
cme 0 Posted April 12, 2003 Excellent capture of the colors, it almost looks like part of a color wheel. What kind of flower is this? Link to comment
