Definitely, someone is spending too much time frightening little children.  My only technical suggestion is to retouch the highlights in the eyes to make them a tiny bit bigger.

Great subject. The symmetry of the shadows could use a little retouching. For me anyways.The lightness around the left ear and the darkness in the bottom right draws my attention away a bit. Great shot.
