Keith: You take a lickin and keep on clickin. I like this one better. About the bridge, I have been thinking about it while I cleaned up my make shift darkroom - I agree with the comment about the lamp blocking the reflection of the bridge. You have great material to work with. Here in MN all I have is brown grass and gray snow. Now to this picutre. It has a similar problem. My eyes are drawn away from the leaves with water drops to the foilage at the upper left. I do not think this is your intention. Maybe try cropping the photo to get the leaves to stick out more, cutting out the background. Also, if you could adjust the depth of field, I do not know your Digital camera, that would put the back ground slightly out of focus and put some punch into the leaves. Overall the picture has great colors and is a welcome sight for snow blind Minnesota eyes. You have focused your attention on one main thing in this picture, with only a little distraction. I like your work and attitude. To be honest, I suffer from the same problem, my photos have too much content. I know the struggle.

I think this would be nicer with lower contrast. Wet green forest scenes are usually better under heavy overcast skies or even in a bit of fog.

I like this a lot. I can appreciate how well you've caught a surprisingly difficult scene to get. The colors are vibrant and the clarity is stunning. I could easily see this on a postcard (one of the nice kind).

My only constructive comments would be similar to that of miguel's in that there as a lot to look at. The rock is nice, the moss is nice, the wet leaves are nice, but they are all nice to the same degree and instead of complimenting each other, they sort of fight for your attention. Would try to macro in on a thing or two, or as was suggested, try a very narrow DOF or try to bump up the contrast to get that sort of medieval magical forest feel.

Excellent job. A good promotion for the 4800.
