satishnair 0 Posted November 6, 2010 Does the subject need to be tack-sharp for the photograph to work? Or can a bulr convey the sense of movement that the photographer wants to capture? I welcome your comments and critiques. Thanks! Link to comment
patrick_duff 0 Posted November 7, 2010 I love the bird in flight. I just find the stump a bit distracting. The image seems a little unbalanced to me because of it. The bird really is great though. Link to comment
lynnthomas 0 Posted November 7, 2010 I love the blur and agree about the stump. I get what your doing here, sometimes the photo makes a better statement/presentation when it's not "tack sharp" and I believe there is a place for it. Very nice. Link to comment
steveshinn 0 Posted November 7, 2010 Likewise on the stump, unless there is something on it that you really want to accentuate. As for the blurred bird, I think that if there were some part of it in focus it would be much better. Fully blurred shots only seem to work when it creates an image on it's own. Link to comment
