And a great first submission it is.  Beautiful focus and well framed.  A great capture of a precious moment.

Beautiful portrait of an angelic girl. Did you attempt a vertical capture too? The background bokeh is too busy and colourful for my taste.

Not sure how to answer back here.  Learning as I go...

Thank you for your very kind comments.  The little girl was the subject of her mother's camera and others in a portrait class.  I asked if I could also photograph her.  She was not "posing" for me, but I like the fact that her eyes are not directed to me.  Lucky capture of a cutie pie.

I did not get the opportunity to attempt a vertical capture of this particular angle, but I do have verticals of her in other frames.
