You and Carsten have now both made my Christmas card list.  :-)  I think I may still have a surprise or two left in the old shoebox.  Stay tuned!  I need something in reserve for those cold winter days when my current shooting dries up a tad.  Good to hear from you too.  Best, LM.

from when my cousin Pino in Rome was a young man, he always tips his hat for an alfa romeo gliding by that steals his heart... respect for beauty... all you need, n'est pas , Len ;-} and i luv the selective focus on the gents as the beauty slowly moves along on her way. very gripping. dp

Thanks for your visit and your thoughts.  Though these guys were tipping their hats at different cars just to be silly (not much of a stretch for them) in this case I think they found a car worthy of the respect this action reflects.  A shot that slept in my shoebox for about 50 years until I got my Epson V500 scanner for Christmas 2009.  Fun day, fun shot!  Best, LM.

Classic is right. Glad you resurrected this one, it's one of the finest examples of the decisive moment that I have ever come across. Into my favorites for sure.

Good to have your views on this one.  It sat dormant for about 50 years until I got my Epson V500 scanner.  Many buried treasures at the bottom of the old shoebox.  Thanks for the additional validation on this oldie.  Best, LM.

Len, you just doubled the effect of good composition! Great story and very stylish also. Vlad.

Just like the Double-mint gum ad says, "Double your pleasure, double your fun ................".  :-)  I'm pleased that you liked the background story.  The harmless foolishness of youth.  Thanks for taking the time.  Best, LM.

Looks like you've been having fun browsing my older offerings.  Thanks for taking the time.  Best, Len.
