Hi Galen....... You have requested a critique on this image so I will oblige, rather than your request probably go unanswered.

Your presented image does not allow me to enlarge it in terms of identifying additional detail - unfortunate.

My experience tells me never to take "full on" images of motorcyclists as one loses all detail, essence of speed and dynamics.

Using the clock face as a yardstick, with you at 6 and the competitor at 12, you would have captured a far better shot had you been at 8, and an even better shot if you had been panning at 9 - using a wide angle lens, but in close.
