Another cemetery image with the moon barely visible.

Not quite as unworldly as the previous posting, but the polarizer here really did some magic. The way the sky darkens as the monument rises into it is really effective. I find myself wondering, though, how it would look with the camera angled just a little more upward.

What do they spray all these old markers with, salt water? Is that moss growing on it?

 

Anyway, this is a pretty darned dramatic image with nice light and interesting shapes. I just wish you could get farther back so as to increase the size of the moon. Oh well, that might involve too much digging and who knows what you'd run across in the process.
