A closeup of the eggbeater, taken the same night as the other

one. Same 50mm lens with the tripod about as low as it would

go.

When the weather gets rough
And it's whiskey in the shade
It's best to wrap your savior
Up in cellophane
He flows like the big muddy
But that's ok
Pour him over ice cream
For a nice parfait

If you think how much time it took to place all those tiny pieces of "Italian" tile, wow!

 

Nice shot, Jim. Despite the normal 50mm lens, it looks like a wide-angle image. It makes for an interesting perspective.

Jim, this is a very interesting take on this shot. I really like the angle you gave this shot, and as with the other shot, I still love the color here. The geometrical shapes I think stood out more in the first shot, but this angle makes for a more interesting picture. Nice work.

The color really pops out here. I love these kinds of shots. My first thought is all the work that must have gone into it.

I like the perspective... makes it feel huge which I am sure it was and of course was your intent.
