Very interesting location - my brother lives in Dover! My adjustments are simply with the shadow/highlight tool and a small crop off the bottom. The unadjusted image is rather dark which hides the very interesting details in the building. The crop is a matter of taste and opinion!

thanks Simon i need to change settings on my monitor i keep doing photos too dark ,thanks a lot for your job,and you right Dover is nice place to visit

It might be worth borrowing or buying something like a Datacolor Spyder 3 Express or similar. It helps with colour balance as well as brightness and contrast. Usually monitors are too bright! In the meantime, keep checking that histogram in Photoshop.
