Speed Limited Goose

Several of these guys gave up because of the strong current, but

this one was determined.

 

The river was up about 20 feet or so this day and it had been

higher than this, Almost the entire marina was under water. After

several years of droughts, mother nature is making up for it this

spring.

I hope they've kept the flood plain cleared and no major damage is resulting.

 

We're coming out of a years long drought too but nothing this dramatic. We have plenty of room for runoff since all the reservoirs were basically empty.

 

I hate to say this, Jim, but this is a cute image. You probably didn't get your feet wet because you used the shorter zoom I see. Fun!
