Lake Kussharo, one of the biggest volcanic lakes in Akan National Park

on Hokkaido. Deeply frozen during winter except for a few smaller

spots where a lot of Whoopers gather for a few months.

Best regards and have a nice weekend, Harry

Outstanding moment and compo, which conveys a smell of "extraterrestrial" creativeness and aesthetics. I'm simply enjoying viewing and getting speechless now... ;-) This is such a splendid capture of two swans flying side by side... Frozen in the best millisecond one can imagine IMO. 7. BR / Volker

Fabulous capture Harry! You've not only shot this image at the exact right moment, but you've also managed to achieve the separation of the two white birds against a nearly white background. Gotta love those feet! Superb work!

All the best,
Neil

Wow, very difficult shot, white on white. But you did great here.

Nice to see that the swans aren't white at all :D

Great pose of these two btw!

You captured an excellent flying pose here Harry with clarity and nice details....

But in this image the strong b&w contrast and the white b/g create a really impressive artistic effect.
