The timing is perfect, there's some kind of still unresolved tension between the wolf and the bear, and what will happen next is unpredictable... very intriguing.

An interesting photo; certainly unusual. Neither a nature photographer nor a naturalist I have two questions. Are they really buddies? Are they fishing?

I've never heard of wolves and bears forming friendships. It is my understanding that when animals do bond they form a symbiotic relationship. There is none apparent here. I do not think they would be "buddies" if they were fishing. They would most likely be rivals. In that case, the bear would case away the wolf.

Like Giorgio, I wonder what happened next.

Anyway, it is tempting to personify animals but also fallacious. Walt Disney is one thing and nature is another.

A unique moment captured no doubt. Love the receding lines of background. Seems slightly over processed on contrast. Really hate the .com on the right and to me ruins the essence....
