it is rare that one is not tempted to put a pianist at the keyboard of the piano. yet here is a beautiful example where the instrument is putdescretly in the background and the viewer's attention falls on the main subject.

in this portrait one can see and read the character of the pianist, with also the portrayal of the hands set so delicatly. a portrait to be proud of.
