The wave is really spectacular. The tilted horizon reduces the impact for me. The toning and colors while interesting I guess for me they do not feel "real". I image this project would also work well in a black and white toning project.

@Craig: Indeed in my eagerness to post the image I did forget about the basics like horizon correction :-(. I will also pick up your recommendation to work on a more natural color version and do some experimenting in b/w.

I agree, the wave is amazing and it looks like the fellow in front is about to get drenched! It is too bad that in your haste to post you forgot to complete your editing. I do hope that you re-work this one and show it again because it is really quite good.
