Venus of Tiziano or, perhaps, The Lady Amongst the Clutter.  While your lighting is very good (except for her face which appears a little dark to me), there is simply too much going on.  Fake flowers, family photos, three lamps, a Shell Oil thing, Dog-on-a-Chair tapestry, another keyboard under the Grand, and maybe a metronome?  It's just too much for me, it's as though she's lost amongst all of these... things, when she should be what we notice.

A couple of other observations: I would have shot this from a slightly lower angle to eliminate the reflection of the keys and used a black foredrop (behind the camera) to conceal the other reflections in the shiny piano.  I would have gotten rid of the pillow so that I could see her reflection in the piano but understand that you are working (loosely) within the confines of Tiziano's portrait, and I would have hidden the power cord on the floor just below her foot.

I say that I would have done all of these things but the truth is, I would probably have taken this photograph, studied it, and then realized the things I could do to improve it.  If your intention was to create a story and the props are necessary then I respect your vision, even though I don't particularly care for the photograph. If it was to be an elegant portrait of a beautiful woman relaxing on a piano then you've already taken interpretive liberties with Tiziano's original work and think a few more might be in order.  As it is, it reminds me of an estate sale where everything must go with little thought to proper merchandising rather than an adaptation of a 16th century masterpiece.

I love the color here, it creates significant visual tension. From my perspective, the image needs this because the model's eyes/facial expression are so dominant. Excellent!

c'è una bellissima luce, mi piace molto il contrasto tra il bianco della tastiera e lo sfondo scuro. bella anche la posa e il dettaglio della modella

Paul,

Although the background is "busy," my eye is still drawn to the model first, the Piano second, then I start to absorb some of the many other details of the photograph.

I can't argue with what others have indicated, but I like the photograph!

Regards,

Jim j.
