All right, the revised version is very good too, but I still prefer your first orginal one. The original is more peaceful and elegant to my eye and the scene is worth for documentary too. With this new version it is difficult to identify all important details including the man.

No, Andrea, the third version does not follow my opinion. Actually I didn´t propose any alternative processing opportunities. The original you uploaded is the best in my opinion and please don´t touch it anymore:-).

Maybe I should have presented my version earlier, but on the other hand it's interesting and valuable to look at different editions and how other visitors may react to those.

Here is my humble suggestion with just a little darkening of the bottom area. As I see this kind of finishing touch, it should be hardly noticeable, just enough effect to improve - BUT - naturally this is matter of taste. This kind of edge burning was common task back in wet darkroom days while printing, to counterweight the vignetting of the enlarger lens and also to keep the print together, so to say.

You see, I would not change much, this due the respect of your original and your vision and how you initially wanted to present it and the feel that it delivers to the viewer.

first, i want to say thanks for all the time and the contributions spent here. and i also observe how all this is interesting and usefull.  about this photo i think that gunnar and markku are right, they say not to enfatize the green. and i agrre becouse the green is not the subject, but the "set" of the scene. only, the photo certainly is lat, so a little work is necessary. but this is not important for me, what i like is that, after this discussion, i hope to remember always that photos asks to be read with all the time they need. ciao!

A very clever eye and excellent concept! Amazing execution of an otherwise very simple event, captured by a clever and talented mind! Congratulations.

I am here quite after some time - this one is a real pleasure to see. Took me some time to understand - but the idea is wonderful, as is its execution. I like this original  unaltered version quite a lot. Best regards.

Andrea, I feel sorry for being late, because I shall not be able to add anything more. I like the original upload. Interesting concept ,presentation and caption.

As did another refined gentleman, who was watching him.  Life is beautiful.

Great, great shadows.  Perfect as it is.

I guess the sun is in a direct line with you and the man, so his shadow is hidden by his body?  That's strange and unworldly, but it adds something as well.
