An exceptional shot and the hues of the colorwork is spectacular.. I understand that the sun setting behind the bluffs adds a level of lightness and haziness to that part of the image but it occupies a central position and I do wish the tones could be darkened just a little.

Tatjana, Jack, thank you both for your comments, is always a pleasure.

Jack, you're absolutely right, this I've been tinkering with for quite sometime, and I've never gotten it exactly as I want it: with a little more darkness next to the mountain in the back.

This actually prevented me from posting it earlier, though this version is the closest I've been to what I want to achieve. I'm sure I'll get back to it sometime, and keep on pushing...I will try with a different software.

It looks like you tried to recover some of the color lost by the sun's glare.  Although I really, really love the colors, I think that the structure of the photo might lend itself to a B&W transfer.  That being said, I really, really love the colors.

This is beautiful.  I was near Lake Powell about a month ago.  Could stop to shoot so glad that you shared these beautiful images.
