Amazing composition and colors...excellent!

A moment of very special peacefulness ... it looks so  liquid and so solid in same time.

I think that the true power in your good image is focusing the amazing stone, with it colours, textures and lighting and all together giving this fantastic texture.I imagine your image as I suggest you, making a risky and severe crop.I aware that my interpretation is not yours and for it  the image changed completely, but seriously, I think that worth it to do a different interpretation to evaluate where is the most important in this scenery...The beautiful  texture, light and colour about the rock and the very nice tone in the water.Logically my crop transform an usual landscape in a first plane take like with a tele-lens and close to an abstract image...Sorry for my crop,my suggestion only pretend to help a bit more about the image power that you had in front of you.Un abrazo y lo mejor para tí y tu familia

Tatjana, Mario, thank you for taking a look at it and letting me know your thoughts about it. It's always a pleasure to be reading your comments.

Mario, your take on this photo is really appealing; and must admit that though extremely different, this abstract approach works better.

I was so interested in this lone stone at the middle of the lake, that I forgot about the stone alone, by trying maybe to hard to get some of its surrounding in.

What a contradiction!....now I'll go back to it, and some others taken there; if you remember I had some abstracts shot near the place, but never thought about this rock as an abstract....how could I missed it!!?

Gracias por abrirme los ojos!.....un abrazo,

The strip of sky blue at the bottom is delightful.  Although I like the alternative, I think this one feels right, giving a sense of the terrain colliding with abstraction.

Esta es una muy de tu estilo! Transmite una gran paz.El contraste de ese azul del agua con el color de las rocas es sensacional. Me gusta mucho la luz que muestra las texturas de las rocas

Donde andabas? He extranado tus comentarios y fotos

Un abrazo

I like this version better. The texture and the color of a big rock on the left and with the sea below work great as a complementary pair. This solid but fine border of the rock and the sea is beautifully shown here, giving so much attention to that part, Juan Carlos.

Best,

Krisi
