A wonderful portrait of the king of beasts.  Too bad that the fence had to show - it would have been fun to imagine you captured this in the wild.

very interesting capture.. unfortunately the light condition is not favorable, ( also it seems the lion's face is not reaslly in focus?).. still, all in all real nice shot.. best regards...

Hi Lisa...the golden afternoon light helped you create a colorful portrait. I would try though to avoid elements which declare that the animal is a captive one (like the fence). Sharpness is an issue too. Quite good but not that good in order to make all the details in the lion's face clearly visible. Nice effort, regards from Greece, Teo

Thank you to everyone! I appreciate the helpful feedback! I am glad the days are getting shorter.. I will have more opportunities to get photos with good lighting.. I have had the horrible habit of going to zoos or parks that close at 5 in the afternoon, lol:)
