Amanda, your question about too much yellow is misleading since this is not (at least now) a color photo.  Since you have issued the challenge to find out what you sense is wrong, let me suggest that the face seems quite soft-focus but the garment is rather overly textured (perhaps in processing).  The soft focus and the crisp fully clarity garments are fighting each other for dominance.
