amysn 0 Posted October 20, 2010 Hi Jack - wonderful fluidity here, very interesting composition - the curve of the white line, the curve of the van, the tilt of the camera, and the man on the bike, sitting tall and center. All those shapes somehow come together beautifully, like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, all snapping together, all flowing together. Love the red too. Link to comment
drewmurphy 0 Posted October 20, 2010 I'm a sucker for strong punchy colour like this. Always good to see your street stuff Jack. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted October 20, 2010 The dude and the bike are razor sharp, which is interesting considering the rest of the world is a saturated blur. I like the energy that the red wall brings, and your composition lends a lot of energy as well. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted October 21, 2010 Thanks for the comments. This is about as over the top as I get. It has a certain in-your-face appeal, at least to me. I think you really have to view this large if it is to have any impact at all. Jeff, you're right, I panned with the rider as he went by. Link to comment
LindaM 2 Posted October 21, 2010 Jack. I agree, this is terrific when viewed large. It brings the emphasis more to the guy on the bike. In the smaller version, I am afraid I'm going to get run over by that vehicle. Link to comment
osamu 0 Posted October 21, 2010 you are such a great photographer! this photo with its composition is like someone choreographed it - just to time the camera shutter. a great photo! i like the caption, too.--osamu Link to comment
Emmanuel Enyinwa 0 Posted October 29, 2010 The sense of motion is well conveyed here, Jack. The vibrant colors help, too. Link to comment
