Compositionally, the cropping needs to be a little more even - you have left a few inches too much to the right. However, I could well have imagined a version with less cropping on either side. The held up hand gesticulating towards the hair requires a little more space to truly find meaning. You have lit the face well bit it could have done with just a touch more light around the eyes so that the eyes would draw in the watcher.Nonetheless, this is a good effort indeed. Link to comment
wmc718 3 Posted October 18, 2010 Francois, I too, was first drawn in by the red cast. This is also a really good look for Liloo... one of the nicest I've seen of her. I also like the clarity of the shot. So often shots like this can get pretty thin. Her right hand strikes me as though it is simply on the move, so it seems natural to me. And the way the palm of her hand picks up the red light again, serves to help balance the image. I gotta say, I like it. Good job IMO! Link to comment
