We have participated in a workshop this weekend, which contained creative art photography , and fine art nude abstracts.....very inspiring !! We feel that this image is a combination of both...hope you like it.

The title is quoted from the liner notes on Patti Smith`s album "Dream of life"

Anne & Runar :-)

A big thanks to Reidulv and Jannicke !!

have looked at your image a couple of times now. no matter how i look at it, my eyes  keep coming back to the wings. love the breast like shape of tops, than corresponding black backbones, with the veins. did not like the earthy color when first viewed, but has grown on me the more i look at it. what i see here is mother earth through your colors, the wings for me represent womanhood, the veins life itself, and the seeds regeneration. yes i like this image very much!

a few years back jude and i went to a bob dylan concert, patti smith was his back up. we both enjoyed her more than dylan. gosh that sounds sacrilegious  to say.

Excellent detail and I love the background color.  The arrangement creates and interesting, albeit constructed, geometry that initially grabs your attention and then holds it while imagination kicks in.  Nice work.

Thanks to everyone of you for great comments !

Roger, thanks for your thoughtful comment, you added some new dimensions....The shape and form of the wing is very similar to many of the poses the model did. She`s a professional dancer, and moved like the wind...

Glad you mention Dylan, we really like his music, and one of our fourthcoming postings will have a song title from him. NO...not THAT song ;-)

Warm regards, Anne & Runar :-)

A seed birthing seeds!  This is very different from the other images in this series, this one really makes the viewer think, perhaps partly due to your opening comment.  Nevertheless I find myself studying it on a different level as apposed to the other images that I enjoyed purely from a more visceral response.  All is well here, there is a good balance within the composition and the tones are very pleasing.
