Tree on a hill

Wide open spaces and the unknown (what lies over the hill) appeal to

me. Please comment.

Beautiful shot, very nice composition.

I like this image for all of it's parts. Subject is the tree with the road leading us to the tree. The field adds some texture and adds to the depth. I think the compostion of the image however doesn't do enough to keep my eye searching througout the rest of the frame. Do not get me wrong this is a nice image, one that I would certainly give a shot at, it just needs some tweaking. INMHO! Congrats on a nice image.

My favorite in your singles folder so far. Everything just seems to come together perfectly here -- composition, exposing and perhaps, most importantly, the lighting. IMO, the cloud shadow in the foreground is essential to the success of the image. Very nice work.
