Just 1/2  of you but 2/3rds of the image - too complicated for mere mortals like me  - I know that we need the light to shine where there is darkness.

Trisha, it's a really interesting concept. The focus is really on the eye, and it is very effective. I suppose there are also interesting philosophical issues that could be raised: is half of each one of us always unknown, maybe even to us? How much of us is always in darkness? Got me thinking, good photo, clever idea...

Interesting concept, creative work. I like how you manage composition with good choice of B&W type. Well done!
