bob_belanger 1 Posted October 8, 2010 Really a nice image. I can almst give him human qualities. He looks curious about what you're doing and he's very interested. But there's some tension and that's shown with his finger in his mouth, kind of a nervous tick. Really a great expression and wonderful bokeh, must ne a nice lens. Link to comment
jerrymat 5 Posted October 8, 2010 He is not nervous. He bites his nails because he has no other way to shorten them - apes have not yet invented clippers. Just imagine how early human clipped their toenails. If you watch the gorillas for hours at the zoo you may discover some other habits they have that will make you ill - for instance, when eating many foods that they do extract all useful minerals from the first time, they recycle.Jerry Link to comment
