johnborg 0 Posted October 7, 2010 Reworked this shot using two exposures for sky and land, and blending together, Link to comment
bmm 0 Posted October 7, 2010 I love these kinds of tones, and the wide angle. Nicely done. Link to comment
niki3 2 Posted October 7, 2010 I really like the pink light that illuminates the scene. good idea to put the ladder in the foreground. good Link to comment
hamidfarzandian 0 Posted October 8, 2010 Its a beautiful scenery with very stunning color cast and nice composition. Foreground, although crisp sharp, is not visually attractive subject. Composition is superb. Bravo.Hamid. Link to comment
alfbailey 2 Posted October 8, 2010 I like the colours and the composition, the blended shots have worked well here. There are a few tiny blemishes (more apparent in the larger view) that I would consider cloning out. Three to be precise one on each side of the inner bars near horizon and another between the narrow band of sea again near the horizon on the left hand bar where it bends back on itself.Nicely worked image John.Kind RegardsAlf Link to comment
johnborg 0 Posted October 8, 2010 Thank you all for your visit and comments. Much appreciated.Hamid Thanks for your constructive comments. I totally agree with you that that ladder isn't such an interesting subject. True indeed. However it was the only subject I could find in an empty beach. I desperately needed something to use as a foreground as the light colours only lasted a few moments.Alf yes you are right about noticing them. They are actually bouys for the boats to tie to. The sea was littered with them which I cloned out one by one. I did consider those you mentioned however I was too "lazy" to clone those out too as they were too close to the bars and horizon (an needed more care!). I would definately clone them out, once you mentioned them as they appear to be faults. Thanks for your suggestion. Link to comment
