Yes, it is a very sad time. there are those who live in escess, those who demonstrate and destroy needlessly, those whose biggest worry is their hair appt.  Look at all of us, nearly all with Digial equipment, computers...do we need this, not really.  would you sell your camera to hellp save a family, or feed a family...or get a young woman off the street....it is such a broad subject and so many views.  Each day I think we can help ....and a word of kindness goes a long way also.

instead of turning the other way....listen to the 'wounded' and 'hungry'. I'm sure there are those who cannot feed their families becaue of many reasons, and many are their own 'habit's' but there are truly those wo attempt to 'get ahead, and only  have doors slammed in their faces.

We are a population that has reeped the benefits of 'excess'...and when times become lean, we and our children do not have the skills to survive. There is a whole generation of young people out there who have not 'wanted' really for anything. Ask and it is given, in many cases and there are those who ask and know if they bug their parents hard encough, they soon will 'cave'.  But do they possess the Social and Intellectual skills to COPE with a world 'gone wrong'?????  It is all too sad...and we are all the AUTHORS.....................good work jorge...sincerely,Gail

This is a compassionate and sensitive portrayal.  It certainly does not exploit this man's circumstances or dimish his dignity as a person.  The fact that you spent time tallking with him is proof of the extent to which you actually care about him per se.

In my opinion, this photograph needs to be distributed across the United States, and indeed across the entire world.  Its message is universal.

It has been my honor to view your work.
