this is almost brilliant.  What keeps it from complete brilliant-ness is not being able to see his face.  I would fix it by adding (even a small) mirror on the floor between the pencils and the eraser and angle it so his face would be visible.  Oh, and one more thing I just noticed - the pencils growing out of his head on the left are not necessary.  I'd clone them out.  Cheers, Micheal
