My brother wanted me to freeze a guitar string for him. Could have done better (concentrating on the string), but I prefer it this way. Camera on a tripod in complete darkness, set on bulb - he fired the strings as he heard me fire the shutter with a cable release, and I fired the flash as I heard him fire the strings (which took us about seven takes - first I fired the flash instead of the shutter, then I fired the shutter and let go before I fired the flash, then...) Thanks to the multiple exposure I didn't lose a frame because of that, but I did lose a frame because I forgot to rewind the slack in the cartridge. A multiple non-exposure with frame overlap.
