michael grace 0 Posted April 1, 2003 Like New York City St Cloud also has a Flatiron building somewhat smaller and not nearly as famous yet it is dear to those who new it in its heyday. I only knew it as a place where you could get a good hamburger. Any comments would be appreciated. Michael Link to comment

ivanskavinsky 0 Posted April 1, 2003 Argh!! I can't bear those fake photoshop frames...The picture is absolutely fabulous though. Very reminiscent of Freidlander, which has got to be a good thing. Cheers Link to comment
dberryhill 3 Posted April 1, 2003 You've managed to use electrical wires as a compositional asset, which I think is no small feat. Nice work. Link to comment
brynot 0 Posted May 20, 2003 Don't think the powerlines do any good in this one. The building, the sign and the tracks should be emphasized. Link to comment
hanna_cowpe 0 Posted January 17, 2004 Michael, I can't imagine a scene like this without power lines, but would prefer a slight turn to the right to fully include the power poles in the distance. They are what they are and very much a part of the site. We have an old flatiron cafe in the city too and every time I pass it I tell myself I should photograph it. You've spurred me on. Thanks.
