LenMarriott 9 Posted September 30, 2010 In the absence of a 'Highway' category I guess this one would indeed qualify as 'Street' photography. After all, it probably connects to a street..............somewhere! I like the off center placement of the road and the bold, high contrast, very dramatic appearance of this one. If there was any post exposure hanky panky I'd be most interested in how you accomplished this final result, and I'm sure many others here at PN would also. It's also nice that you let the subject dictate the crop ratio and not the camera's native format, a technique unfortunately not considered by many who post here. Best, LM. Link to comment
woolly1 0 Posted October 5, 2010 Apart from the usual levels, sharpening, b+w conversion and off course the cropping there's not much to add. The unusually dark blacktop is so because it had only just been laid ... you can see the other, older carriageway to the right side yet to be renewed.Thanks for the comments. Link to comment
