I took this one when I first got the camera I'm thinking about going

and reshoot this one when it gets warmer! Its been very hard to find

stuff to photograph in frozen Rochester, N.Y.

like the picture. which cemetery is this from? looks kind of like holy sepulchre. have you tried Mt. Saint Hope, that one is much older and has some really awesome stones in it. I am not a ghoul, by the way, I used to make gravestones and grew up in Rochester.

I think this is better with the snow...or on a misty day maybe. Realizing that not all thinks are proper in a cemetary...I think a highr angle would be better.(no climbing stone though).

I like the snow. You did a good job of balancing deeeep depth of field with no distractions in the background.

I like it, it's a beautiful cemetary. I wonder how a vertical composition might have worked to show the full sculpture?

I also like the snow. It gives a nice mood to the photo. I'd also try to back off a bit and include a larger part of the statue in the frame.

of course, living in South Texas, I'll take snow anyway I can get it! I think it adds "weight" to the shot. The weight of winter is heavy on your subject. Also, I'd definitely go for the vertical shot and let us see the feet that support such a burden as she is obviously carrying.

Nice job on exposure.

This is a nice shot. I like pictures of angels and I have mine too, but I don´t agree with the comments about a vertical shot. I think it is OK as it is, maybe crop on right and left side to make it tighter and increace the feeling of desperation...but to show the legs...well I think some things don´t need to be show and it is better to let us wonder (imagination) how could this poor angel stand on his feet...or is he suspended on the air?
