aarkp 2 Posted September 28, 2010 i've been bouncing between these three photographs, trying to make up my bind which one is the best... finally decided on this one -- simply Outstanding work! It is dynamic and (to my eye) perfect in every sense... the richness of the colors, the perfection of the bokeh, the stances and expressions of the women... love the composition of this but would still suggest a 4:3 crop Link to comment
color 3 Posted September 28, 2010 Hi Paolo,I like Rajat's crop and I have a suggestion of my own: Copy the layer, make the copy's blending mode multiply, add a layer mask and mask all of the new layer out except the lower jester's face. That adds color, contrast, and texture to an area that is a little blown out.I do like the photo BTW. It's fun and colorful. Link to comment
bevip 0 Posted September 29, 2010 Hi my friendsI find the idea of a good crop and also that of the mask layer stacking. Thanks again Link to comment

aarkp 2 Posted September 30, 2010 El, as usual, has said it well... i'm disappointed in our friends on PN - of 65 visitors only three of us have found it worthwhile to say anything and just two have felt like rating... :>( Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 30, 2010 Very good 'grab' of the moment. Vivid color, good blur on the bg--did you mask this? Link to comment
Ziggy01 1 Posted October 1, 2010 This was potentially good shot if both faces would be in focus, but in this form this is unacceptable. Link to comment

bevip 0 Posted October 1, 2010 Ziggy you are right. the face is not perfectly focused and I was Conscious of this. are the first to consider this image technically imperfect. Despite the fire out I wanted to share it with facial expressions and its colors. "Not to make me miss the moment I took this picture while I was on the phone with my wife." I hope to see you again soon to comment on my work. Link to comment
