Stacked In My Favour
Old Man Of Storr, Skye, ScotlandI have shot the Old Man of Storr from a good many viewpoints but this is the first time from the path that leads to the valley behind the central stack. It is also the first time I have taken this shot which conveyed something of the mystery and atmosphere of this magnificent place. I waited until a rolling bank of fog descended on the tallest spire making it almost translucent and by character imperious. The odds at last appearing to be stacked in my favour.NEW!!
