Black Crowned Night Heron, Juvenile, Wallkill River NY

Larry, it's a clean shot, nice and sharp with great light. With my work I'm always struggling with crops on poses like this. I'm thinking vertical here. I feel the background is overpowering in a negative space sense. It looks plastic (NR can cause this), and a little busy with vertical banding that compete with the subject. Not an easy capture, as these birds tend to be very shy, at least here in NJ. Kudos,
