First macro upload that was taking using my new Nikon 85 mm macro

VR2 lens!

What you have done well:  The focus appears to be on the eye.

What you could have done better: The light is very flat and the picture appears to be somewhat underexposed.

When I brightened I lost detail in the flower, so I opted for a slightly darker version.  Your post inspired me to try again...lo and behold, I remember "shadow and highlights."  Take a look at the new version.

Let me know what you think.

(I always seem to think what I view on PN is a tad darker than what I see in PSE7, any thoughts on this?)
