Jack McRitchie 150 Posted September 20, 2010 Here's another little visual treat for the curious mind. There's a quality of light here that indicates it was shot on a cloudy or even dreary day. I think the subdued, low saturation of the colors works well to further the quality of the illusion I do wish it was level all the way through but c'est la vie. Link to comment
laurentlacoste 0 Posted September 23, 2010 It seems this image struck the same chord in the three of us even before I read your title. It made me think of my old philosophy lessons and Plato's dicussions.Another wonderful image, Markku, that resonates deeply in the mind AND the soul of the curious viewer. Link to comment

mark_q 0 Posted September 25, 2010 Thank you, dear Masters. Thanks to the yellow van this scene made me to release The Button. Now afterwards I see it quite funny that I initially rotated the camera to achieve horizontal balance. Somehow I managed to slice that passer-by just right, to do the trick here. Link to comment
.th 0 Posted September 27, 2010 For a moment I thought you had been in my neck of the woods, there was something awefully familiar with the building, colours and all. But then, I assume there are plenty of similar ones scattered around Scandinavia.. Such timing! Link to comment
mark_q 0 Posted September 27, 2010 Your visit here in my portfolio is most welcome. I have been wondering if ever any of my photos would receive your comment, good or bad. So, seems like things are rolling towards the better. Thanks for your visit! Link to comment
.th 0 Posted September 28, 2010 I do visit, perhaps not that often, but from time to time. I just don't feel like saying much, and when the only thing I can think of is "hey, nice photo" I try to resist the urge to say it loud. And while a lot of the photos I look at make me feel stuff or appeal to me in different ways - and do indeed deserve comments - for some reason the words don't come. But thanks for kind words. I will visit again, but I can't promise I'll leave traces.. BestTh Link to comment
