Beautiful capture. I like the bright apricot color in the clouds but the royal blue of the hills on the far shore is too saturated.

I agree with most of what has been said so far Jason. I think you have a real winner here save for a couple of minor Post pro shortcomings. I find the sky has been pushed outside the envelope and you have blown a channel, but I do like the colors in the portion of sky that is retained. As Marc referenced, the distant mountains are also a jolting blue. Further right and they look more real, but the left side mountains need a modest scaling back. My final comment is regarding the darker conifers in the UL. Perhaps a grad shadow? The trees have become a blocked up mass of dark green. Yes I know too well how difficult it is to maintain shadow detail in those darker areas. A separate exposure for the trees blended in would have worked for that. I can't help but be critical when I see something so exemplary in the way of composition and subject matter. This is a stunning moment and the wave action is so dynamic. Your portfolio of the Lake Tahoe area is one of the finest and this image is a good addition and a real visual treat!!

Thanks everyone for the great comments. Mark I agree with everything that you have said about the post problems.I get lazy sometimes and have very bad eye sight and no glasses (broke about a year ago). So thank you very much for pointing out the problem areas.I have reworked the image its in my port so let me know what you think
