World's Fair 1965 NYC

Always a favorite place for me to walk. I forget what the back bldg in

the back is but it was used in Men in Black as the spaceship at the end

of the movie. The globe of course in the US Steel Unisphere. Critique

is appreciated.

It's an unusual shot of a familiar landmark.

But it's also got a Planet of the Apes/Sci Fi quality about it, as if it's a frame from a movie where the hero goes forward in time to find NYC overgrown with vegetation.

A very nice photograph bringing back many happy memories from going to that fair, both years it ran.

The towers behind the Unisphere were part of the New York State Pavilion. There was a tent like structure below with a huge map of the state. Growing up on Long Island we used to love to stand like giants on our town.
