Your 'Summertime Garden Visitor' looks a little menacing, larger than life.  This gives your image great impact, I can hear a small child exclaiming; yuk, what is that?  Echoing the comments of others before me, this image is very creative, and very nicely done!

Gail the image on it's own is great I love the compostion and the background. Trully a great image. On top of it you did not just stop there and that is what makes this one even better. The presentation is superb I like it a lot.

Congrats.

Love the color, DOF and the details on the bug. The framing is as usual your trademark Gail. This would make an excellent greeting card.

Cheers

Sincere thanks for your support and kind words of critique, both of which are essential in our 'photographic journey'. I am most appreciative that you decided to share your thoughts with me.  I'm a few days late, but do appreciate your visit very much.  Warm regards, Gail

How nice to be met with such exhuberance when I read your thoughts on t his image.  Your visit and support are most appreciated, and of course, the time it takes to share your thoughts.....that is the 'gift'.  There are so many incredible photographers and artists becoming 'part of the family' that it becomes more difficult to share how we feel about all the ones we would like.  My warmest regards and thanks, Gail

This may not be the best photo to say with enthusiasum "I think you've been bitten by the BUG !"  Lovely to hear someone so excited to add another 'venue' to their Portfolio.  You will find it most rewarding, and many will encourage you along the way.  We certainly are a 'diversified' Group, and thankfully most are willing to  share whatever knowledge they can offer.  You could not be in a better place!  With camera in hand, your possibilities are limitless.....ENJOY....tnks for your visit, Gail

So good to hear from you and especially your remarks.  You noticed the positioning of the main photo, and this is one area where I took 'some time' to decide just what angle it should be on.  Good eye Kallol! And it is good to hear someone who agrees with my decision.  We never know for sure unitl someone 'sees' through our eyes also.  You are  an excellent  means of support, and for this I am most appreciative.  Warm regards, Kallol, most sincerely, Gail

I saw your remarks a few days ago, but unfortunately other demands made it difficult to reply.  I am very humbled by your suggestion, as I know you say these words with a 'pure  heart'.  As you said, you have nothing to gain, there is no motive, so why not say what you feel.

No many would open up and be so honest. But is is this honesty that truly encourages me in the direction I would like to go.  Certainly adding to the family monthly income would be grande, and such a 'punch' to my self esteem'.  To know I am improving to this extent is very rewarding. It also is a great inspiration for me to further improve my skills, for I know there is so much for me to learn.  Thankyou, for this honest and encouraging Critique. I truly do not have the words that thoroughly express my appreciaiton....but I hope my 'Thankyou' will be seen as  a sincere reply to your kindest of Critiques.  Most sincerely, Gail

Your images are often in the back of my mind while working on my photos.  Your Portfolio is full of 'vibrant color and life'.  I do not know you  personally, yet I feel through your images and words, I somehow 'know' you.  You express your love of life and travel through your images and words, and when you visit my images, I truly see it as a compliment.  Thankyou for taking the time to visit Jana. Respectfully, Gail

Thankyou for those very kind compliments Andrea.  I am not the most prolific at Scrapbooking, but do enjoy it.  I was doing it twenty years ago, for my earliest grandchildren.  (kind of inherited them) but have always felt children should have a sense of where and who they come from. 'ONE" day it may be important.  I used to use those really nice small Recipe books, The slots were just the right size for photos, rings in them so you could easily add photos....annd I collected things from their childhood that would seem meaningless, but they always got a kick out of them.

Each time I would visit, the toddlers would come and 'cuddle' close so I could add a few more photos to their albums.  I did not take as many photos back then, but tried.  Now with Digital our imaginations are 'boundless' and 'Creativity' has taken on a whole new realm.  Your visit has been very encouraging, and I thank you for the time you took to visit.  Most sincerely, Gail

I am here trying to catch up on my replies, and I'm so glad you name appeared.  My Dad just called about twenty minutes ago.  He rushed my Mom by ambulance to the hospital tonite. Chest pains, they are going to moniter her overnite.  He is staying till the Dr. comes, I may go and sit with her.  I don't care if she is sleeping. No one should have to stay in Emerg by themselves.

Hopefully it is just anxiety.  She has a big 4 hour test they were going to do on her heart tomorrow anyways, and a procedure on Friday.  This Wednesday is their Anniversary. She was feeling better, and now is not doing so good.  My Dad is lookng very tired.  I'm so glad I have this 'outlet' to keep my mind busy. And the conversations with everyone who write their kind words on my pages.  PN truly serves more than just a Photo posting site. It is where we post our 'lives', what we enjoy doing, places we love to visit. And I am sure it keeps folks in contact with others they otherwise would not have the opportunity to contact.  Thanks Patsy for always being there with your support or an email. The little jokes and those more uplifting that you send are truly appreciated.  My deepest thanks, Gail

Thankyou Jim for your input.  So appreciated.  I hear you re 'small children'.....then again, when you think of the stuff they pick up and play with, you kind of wonder.  I'm glad you found the image interesting.  Many thanks for your time and consideration, sincerely, Gail
