philgeusebroek 0 Posted March 30, 2003 I love this but then again I took it, so what's your opinion? I'm a bit concerned that I framed the beak too far left. What do you think? Thanks, Phil Link to comment
mg 0 Posted March 30, 2003 Maybe the beak is indeed a bit too far left, yes, but it's still a very nice picture... If you crop a bit on the right, I suspect the little lack of space on the left won't be a problem anymore. Side-note: what about a little black frame ? The white page attacks the image here... barmijo 0 Posted March 30, 2003 Wonderful image. The stark contrast between the eye and the feathers draws my interest and holds it. Well done! Link to comment
jeff_thomford 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Great detail, it took a second to recognize but is unmistakable as a snowy owl. Nice shot! Link to comment
nikonuserf100 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Excellent shot. Great clarity. Nicely composition. Link to comment
danielkekesi1 0 Posted March 31, 2003 ...did you manage to get this close to a snowy owl? It must have been a great luck to find one (if you took this picture outside of a zoo, of course). AFAIK they are wry shy creatures. Have a nice day.Daniel Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted March 31, 2003 A right crop would be a good idea as Marc suggests. Great capture. Link to comment
palmi 0 Posted March 31, 2003 Awsome Phil, very nice detail but I have to agree with Mark about cropping litle of the right. Link to comment
abie_borker1 0 Posted April 9, 2003 Awesome shot! How was this done, captive bird I assume? Stuffed? The eyecolor seems almost too perfects, what's in the reflection I can't tell. Link to comment
toby_tyler 0 Posted April 15, 2003 To me this shot is about the eye. The sharpness and composition contribute to this dynamic work. Link to comment
yatish 0 Posted January 15, 2005 Absolutely fantastic. I can't understand the lower ratings on this picture. Link to comment
