Satay is a popular delicacy in Indonesia,Malaysia ,Thailand & Singapore. Satay is made with any of the following:- chicken,goat, mutton, pork, beef,fish or tofu, by grilling or barbecuing over wood or charcol fire .Satay is served with various spicy seasonings like peanut sauce dip or gravy, slivers of of onions, cucumber or rice cake.

This shot was taken at popular  Lau Pa Sat (Telok Ayer Market), right in  heart of business district of Singapore. There are several shops ,preparing and selling delicacies , and frequented by locals and tourists.

i like the way you've framed him so well... a truly effective composition with the light on his face as he concentrates on his cooking, which he is doing with such expertise -- the rapidity of the movements of his hands is well captured and shown, making this an image beyond the usual representations of street hawkers

This is a teaser! A good Satay with a good 'pindasauce' enriched with spices like Djintan, Djahé,Ketoembar,Koenjit and Sambal is heaven on earth...
