I am considering entering this image into a juried nude art show. The

comments/critiques of this community would be greatly appreciated.

If she's pregnant it's a nice shot - ?

I dont think it matters whether she's pregnant or not.  I think it's a nice shot Mark.  Very natural.  I do find the tattoo or mark on your leg a little distracting, to me it distracts from the shadow line down her leg.  Otherwise really nice shot Mark.

I agree about the tattoo. I would rather it not be there. I considered removing it but don't think I could do a convincing job of it. My photoshop skills are pretty rudimentry.

The questions as to whether or not she is pregnant raised (for me) more philosophical questions - "What is beauty" and "What do we find makes a compelling image?"

She is not the slim/trim stereotypical image of a model - Nor is she 8 or 9 month pregnant. What makes this a good/compelling image - or not?

I would like to do a series dealing with the more extreme body types - the very thin and the very heavy - These I would find compelling!

I like the idea of the image. As has already been pointed out is that the tattoo is distracting. What spoils the image for me is her apparent glance to her left taking away the total profile feel of the image. Whether people like it or not, you should enter it. You can never win prizes if you never enter anything.
